Three Oak Steakhouse

“My friends and I went there for a 4:15 reservation and by the time we got there it was already packed (Sunday afternoon). We were taken up to the 2nd floor and seared. The menu was so good that we had a hard time deciding on what to get. Our friend George loves French onion soup and he said this French onion was legit!! We also got fried calamari and it was very good. We got the dry aged cowboy steaks and the bone in filets. For our sides we got French fries, the roasted corn and sweet potato au gratin . Everything was amazing... we all really enjoyed it and the ambiance was perfect. They also have an upstairs/outside bar area that we are hoping to go back to....”

“We went on Father's day which was also my birthday. The food amd service was flawless and absolutely delicious. Yes, its expensive but sooo worth the trip! Dry aged steaks and their seasonings made it the best steak I have had! They even have their own steak sauce. Which, by the way, is delicious but not needed. Definitely an amazing addition flavor wise. I had the beef capaccio. I haven't had a good one in so long!!”

“Three Oak is not for me, but I think it delivers on what people expect from this type of steakhouse: fancy classy atmosphere (they have a dress code), extensive drinks list, serviceable food, and Excess. It’s meant to be loud and ostentatious. It’s too Excessive for me. The butter that came with the bread shocked me with how artificial it tasted (Flavacol? Fake maple syrup flavor?) but I can see why people want this. The steak had too many issues. It was a tad overcooked to medium (I ordered medium rare), it was extremely salty and oily (the crab was also super salty), and the sauces didn’t taste quite right (Bearnaise was really loose and thin with a sharp flavor, demi was quite salty). I’m so tired of restaurants overloading on the salt and butter thinking it magically creates flavor. Frankly, in Easton, you can get much better cuisine at a much lower price point. But I’m not the target market; I usually walk out of steakhouses feeling I didn’t get my money’s worth. People don’t go to steakhouses to experience interesting cooking. People just want a huge hunk of meat. And Three Oak delivers that just fine.”

“Three Oak Steakhouse delivered a very enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, with beautiful décor and a stunning bar that immediately sets the tone for a great evening. The NY Strip was excellent, cooked to perfection with the fat rendered to melt in your mouth. The kitchen clearly takes pride in what it serves. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to far with the food quality. Our bartender gave us the feeling we were interrupting her by arriving at 9:45 p.m. on a Friday evening; we had to ask for menus, and immediately got reminders that the kitchen was closing at 10 p.m. That said, it wasn't enough to detract significantly from the overall experience. I'd happily return. The atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit, and the food is the real star. This is easily the best steakhouse in the Lehigh Valley.”
