“We came here with a party of six and we all really enjoyed our visit! Right off the bat, the woman who seated us and took our order (she said she’s related to the owner) was incredibly kind and funny. She was actually one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever interacted with in a restaurant! There were plenty of vegan options and they were all clearly labeled. We tried many dishes including Vegetable Spring Rolls, Tom Kha soup, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Green Curry, Massamun Curry, Red Curry, and Lard Na. We really loved all of the food we ordered. The flavors were very rich and delicious. Definitely some of my favorite Thai food I’ve had. The atmosphere was cozy and overall pretty nice. It had a rustic feel. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!”

“Walking in, I felt like I was in for a bad time. The place is kind of rough to say the least. Xmas stockings are still hung up, glass on the tables despite having decent table cloths. It’s really dark and the music selection is kind of awful. The service was average. The waiter kind of hawked us, but we were the only table so alright I suppose. I was pleasantly surprised though with the food. It was pretty darn good. The pad tai was very flavorful. It’s a dish that’s kind of hard to mess up, but when it’s good, it’s real good. If they spruced the place up, it would be a stand out in the crowded Emmaus Triangle. As it sits though, it’s just average.”

“This establishment was undoubtedly a standout find, the culinary offerings were exceptionally impressive, the serving size was generously proportioned, necessitating leftovers to be taken home, and the beverages were superb. Great for a date night.”

“Have been here many times. The food is always fresh, authentic and delicious. Huge shrimp in their dishes as opposed to other places that give you a few measly tiny shrimp. The Thai iced tea is awesome as well. The service is friendly and attentive. There’s a nice romantic atmosphere in the upper dining area.”

“I started coming to swadee about 3 years ago and the food has changed on taste and texture. I don't know if they changed cooks, but it's now a hit or miss. I usually order the spring rolls, but now there a little mushy inside and the dumplings taste a little dry. The service is phenomenal and welcoming.”
