“I recently stopped by Kome in Pennsylvania, and it is easily one of the best sushi spots I have found. The first thing you notice is the atmosphere; the restaurant is beautifully furnished and has a perfect, relaxed vibe that makes it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal, take a lucky person on a date, or maybe have a birthday party at. The fish was incredibly fresh, which is always the most important part of a good sushi experience. I ordered a variety of dishes, starting with the clam soup and the seaweed salad, which were both excellent. For the rolls, I tried the mushroom, the avocado and cucumber, and the mixed vegetable options. Each one was well-made and tasted great. I was also impressed that they offer a "no soy" sushi option, which is a nice touch. And just to clarify, I finished the meal with a toro tasting, which is definitely not a dessert, but it was the absolute highlight of the night. If you are in the area and looking for a high-quality, comfortable place to grab sushi, Kome is definitely worth a visit.”

“The food was amazing. Presentation was a huge plus at KOMÉ. The portions were on the smaller side from what others at my table got, but my herb crusted tuna was absolutely perfect! The flavor was amazing! The BlackBerry cheesecake was delicious along with the garnishments that accompanied. The wagu tartare looked amazing and had the flavor to match. Overall this place was great and our server was very attentive as well.”

“Amazing food and great service. We decided to try this place for the first time. Many dishes looked interesting. We got seared tuna and duck breast. They were tasty with generous portion. Cocktails are great as well. Can’t wait to go back and try different things.”

“I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I was disappointed with our experience at KOMÉ. We arrived around 7:15 p.m., and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. We were seated promptly, and our waitress greeted us with water. She returned shortly after to take our drink and appetizer order, which started the evening off well. Unfortunately, as the meal went on, the service noticeably declined. I completely understand that servers have multiple tables—I worked in restaurants myself—but our waitress spent the majority of her time standing and talking with the table next to us. After our food and a second round of drinks were delivered, we barely saw her again. At one point, I needed a side sauce and had to ask two different servers because our waitress never came back to check on us. It wasn't until the table she'd been chatting with left that she finally returned and asked if we needed anything. By then, we were frustrated with the lack of attention and simply asked for the check. After we signed the receipt, she immediately picked it up and removed the tip before we had even gotten up from the table. While I understand that's part of closing out a table, it felt rushed and impersonal. For a higher-end restaurant, I expected the level of service to match the atmosphere and pricing. The food was enjoyable, but the hospitality fell short. It was especially disappointing because we were celebrating a birthday, and the experience didn't feel special at all.”

“I've been wanting to visit for years. We were celebrating my sister's 37th birthday and a promotion in received at work. Our chef was blah. The food was not prepared well. You can see the chefs at the other tables interacting well. Felt left out. Clear soup was good. Salad wouldn't have arrived without us asking where it was. Chef started cooking before appetizers came out. Just wasnt what I thought it was going to be. Definitely did not live up to the hype. Kinda disappointed.”
