Hunan Springs

“We've been going to Hunan Springs for around 30 years now. This place is the best Chinese food I've ever had anywhere. I don't think we've ever had a bad meal there, not once, not ever. Some of the original people still work there but I think the business is mainly run by the children now. They handed it off gracefully to them because I don't notice any menu or quality changes. The best appetizers are beef on a stick, vegetable rolls, hand made pork dumplings, and pickled cucumber. When they serve you chips and duck sauce, you can ask for hot mustard, they still have it but it's not popular so they don't serve it unless you ask. The best dinners are sizzling seafood, general tso chicken, sesame chicken, chicken and garlic sauce, dragon and Phoenix, and house special chow fun. Everything is amazing but those are definitely my top favorites. It's probably the best Chinese food you will ever have. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. It's like an old brick farmhouse. Everyone is friendly and nice.”

“In 2004 my family started coming to Hunan springs, the owners treated us like family friends so we kept coming back, I am 25 now and since then I’ve lived all over the Lehigh valley, Rhode Island, Downingtown PA, And now I live in Lancaster, when I tell you that I’d drive 1hr plus for the Hunan Experience I would! I have never given any Asian cuisine establishment such high marks, what does Hunan Springs have above countless others? Their authentic experience to serve you their best EVERY time. There have been many years when I did not come here but even after being away for 7 years they are exactly the way I remember them If you live anywhere in Eastern PA and have not yet had the Hunan springs experience you are missing out on what the Lehigh Valley has been blessed with for 20+ years”

“Shout-out to Hunan Springs- we were there for a birthday party of 15. Our server was pleasant, and extremely efficient- got our drink orders immediately, set up the table with fried noodles and sauces, took the table's order, all our food came out at the same time- in a short time, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Everything came out when it should have, and there were literally no issues whatsoever. Here's a pic of my pepper steak- it was great and I love that everything was bite-size- didnt have to dissect it in order to eat it, like I usually do! Lol And it tasted great!”

“We were actually waiting for a table at another local restaurant and passed by Hunan Springs. So happy we did. It was a while since we had Chinese, the food was so fresh great portion size and the food was amazing. Definitely looking forward to returning.”
