What People Are Saying About Aroma of India
“Aroma of India is a standout. Prabhu, the owner, is warm, generous, and deeply knowledgeable, walking us through dishes rooted in northern India near the Nepalese border. That regional touch shows up on the plate—everything tastes intentional, layered, and alive. The food was fresh, bold, and genuinely memorable. Even the chai is made from scratch, and it’s easily the best in town. If you’re heading to a show at Archer Music Hall or Arrow, eat here first. You’ll start the night on a high note and wonder why you ever went anywhere else.”

“This restaurant feels like home. From the beautiful ambiance to the unique cooking made in house with rich depth of flavor... the love and passion is tangible in the air here. We brought mom here for her birthday, and they brought us a complimentary dessert with a candle before we had even decided whether or not to order dessert. So sweet. The lovely couple who own this wonderful place are so good and cool :-) Best indian restaurant around!! They are from Nepal”

“Went on sat at 7pm and stayed till 9:30pm. Had a good time chatting to the owner Prabhu…. Though he was very busy (every table was full) he managed to find time to chat to us giving anecdotes about dishes and history of the famous chicken momas (originated from Nepal - which was very good - along with the sauce). I ordered Bhindi Masala and it was really delicious. The rest of my party had dishes that were all very good. We’ll be back!”

“Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The lamb korma was incredible, the biryani out of this world. Incredibly rich cuisine. The mango lassi was perfect, hints of rose water and the mango was so fresh. The atmosphere is clean, pleasant, and warm. The owner is the kindest man in the world. 10/10.”

“I can confidently assert that Aroma of India deserves a perfect 10/10 rating. The customer service was outstanding, characterized by friendly and helpful staff. The food was exceptionally delicious and flavorful, with both the curry chicken and chicken vindaloo being outstanding. Additionally, the Gulab Jamun dessert was 10 out of 10.”
