Morgan Hill Golf Course

“Let’s start with the only positive: Morgan Hill is a hilly, very challenging, and scenic golf course. If you only care about the dirt and the grass, it’s a tough but fun test of golf. However, a golf experience is dictated by the staff, and the employees running the operations here are some of the most miserable, lazy, and arrogant individuals I’ve ever encountered at a golf course. Our group arrived at 5:50 AM for a 6:30 AM tee time. Nobody even showed up to unlock the facility until 6:20 AM. When the employee finally arrived, he quietly unlocked the door and just walked away. No "Good morning," no "Come on in," no greeting whatsoever. We were the first group off, and that set the tone for the rest of the day. Because they cram tee times together every 10 minutes, we were immediately warned before teeing off that we needed to play fast because "200 golfers were behind us." We get it—pace of play matters. We tee'd off at 6:28 AM and finished the entire round by 10:30 AM. A 4-hour round on a heavily undulating, difficult course is an excellent pace. Yet, despite the group behind us being a full hole-and-a-half back, we were badgered numerous times about being "behind pace." We literally did not hold up a single soul all morning. The absolute final straw was at the end of the round. As I’m standing by the cart with my hands completely full—juggling my golf bag, my cooler, and my jacket—the starter is aggressively insisting that I move the golf cart forward 10 feet because it was apparently "in his way." He refused to touch it and demanded I do his job for him. Laziness at its finest. To top it all off, they have a tip jar out. If you guys want a tip, here is a free one: Don't harass paying customers who are outriding the group behind them by a hole and a half, and don't demand players do your job for you because you're too lazy to walk 10 feet. It is incredibly frustrating to see a golf course with so much potential get completely ruined by an adversarial, miserable staff. We won't be back.”

“Played with my buddy Bryce today and greens rolled really well and the pace was awesome. Morgan Hill is easily one of nicest courses in Lehigh Valley! The food at the View is excellent too!”

“Fantastic golf course that offers a challenging, but rewarding layout. Super fun to play with the variety of elevation changes, views, and abundance of wildlife on the course. The staff is super friendly, and Jeff, the Director, does a great job managing the course! Can't wait to play there again! A must try if you are in the Lehigh Valley.”

“Played with my daughter and we just loved it!! Views on the back 9 are ridiculous, really interesting and challenging holes. Restaurant was fantastic too. One (not really a criticism) is there are some holes you can hit a perfect drive and it’s really hard to find your ball, blind shot with crazy undulating fairways, had that happen a few times (hit dead straight drives and could not find the ball). Overall a wonderful place, will be back!”
