What People Are Saying About Steel Club
“The Steel Club is truly a hidden gem and an exceptional venue for a wedding. My husband and I were married there in May, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, and our guests continuously complimented both the quality of the cuisine and the drinks throughout the evening. The venue itself is beautiful, romantic, immaculate, and surrounded by breathtaking grounds that created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. Robin Volpe served as our event director, and she played an instrumental role in bringing our vision to life. From the very beginning, Robin ensured that every detail was handled seamlessly. Whenever we had a request or idea, she found a way to make it happen while allowing us to enjoy the planning process without stress or worry. Her professionalism, organization, and dedication made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. Although it rained on our wedding day and our ceremony had to be moved indoors, Robin managed the transition flawlessly. She even made accommodations so our dog could still attend the ceremony, which meant so much to us personally. Despite the weather, the day felt perfect, and we truly could not imagine having our ceremony anywhere else. I would highly recommend The Steel Club to anyone searching for an event venue that is elegant, fun, clean, romantic, and picturesque. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding, and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience.”

“I can’t speak highly enough of this place. From the moment we first stepped foot through the doors, everyone made us feel right at home. We looked at other venues prior to Steel Club in hopes of getting married, only to be ignored and given the cold shoulder. I am so glad it worked out that way. Robin Volpe, the event coordinator, has stayed on top of everything from start to finish throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was attentive to our needs, kept us in the loop, and was very communicative. Planning this wedding was stressful enough and she helped take the edge off. Stephanie, the bartender, and Anton and Kayden were incredibly accommodating during the entire wedding. They were constantly checking in and asking if we needed anything. I can tell you one thing about this place - they make sure to hire and keep amazing people. I consider this venue home away from home! I would also like to add this venue is the most beautiful one we’ve seen out of all the ones we toured - it has a warm, rustic and cozy charm which is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. A huge thanks to everyone who made us and our guests feel top priority on the day of our wedding. It was an absolutely beautiful day which couldn’t have been any better.”

“This place is a hidden gem!! I just had my wedding here this last Saturday and everything went perfectly! Robin is your coordinator from start to finish and she was so lovely to work with. She helped make my place cards, decorated everything, and was so organized and on top of things! Steph was also great and was in charge of the bridal suite on the day of wedding— making sure we were well taken care of! The ceremony space is beautiful and we had to move our cocktail hour last minute (weather related) to “the alley” which was also decorated beautifully. They just got rid of the carpet in the main ballroom and it elevated the look of the space drastically! If your from the area definitely would recommend this place, it was also more affordable and accommodating then most other venues in the area.”

“We joined the dining club a few years back and at first, we enjoyed it. But after a number of visits, we felt that the bartenders, whom were all primarily men, were extremely unfriendly. When we dine out, we prefer to sit at the bar because it's normally more social and it's always nice getting to know the bartenders. We felt so unwelcome by the staff, that we stopped going. Last year we gave it another try. We were pleasantly suprised to see that the men were gone and it was primarily all women behind the bar. They were great, and that's when we met Jen for the first time. She was, and still is, the most wonderful, friendly and professional staff member that we have met there. However, the food service was so unbearably slow the few times that we went last year, that we stopped going. This past Sunday we decided to try it again, because according to their Instagram post, they were offering a delicous Wagu Steak salad, which my husband ordered. Unfortunately he was served the most disgusting slices of meat, that resembled sliced Roast Beef that had been left out for hours. It was definitely not Wagu Steak. It was dark, gray and looked like shoe leather, and he even ordered it Medium temp. The kitchen couldn't even remember to add the Frizzled Onions, also mentioned in the ad. When we showed it to Jen, she agreed that it looked awful -- and not at all like the Instagram picture that I showed her. She called the Manager over to handle the issue. This Manager, with long curly hair, had been sitting at the bar 3 seats down from us on her laptop, had walked in front of us and behind us at least 10 times, and never acknowledged us...until she had to. She quickly took the dish back to the kitchen while Jen asked if we wanted to order something else. We declined. The Manager came back and offered us dessert. We declined. We also overheard the Manager say that kitchen staff said the dish looked exactly as was posted. With that, we left. Unfortunately we have given the Steel Club one too many chances. With so many other wonderful restaurants throughout the Lehigh Valley, we're happy to take our business elsewhere. Spending $68 on 3 cocktails, 1 appetizer and 1 salad, and still having to go elsewhere afterwards for a more enjoyable dinner, really isn't our idea of a relaxing day out. We tried, but something, or someone, just doesn't seem to be working out at The Steel Club.”

“Great place for a wedding! We recently photographed a wedding at Steel Club and we have no complaints. The venue offers that classy and elegant vibe without going over the top. The grounds are well maintained and give off a very relaxed atmosphere which makes it easy for guests to enjoy themselves. We had plenty of areas to photograph the wedding party which makes it super easy for everyone involved. Bonus, the staff was super awesome and helpful! Looking forward to working there in the future.”
