They even handled the wiring and splicing appropriately, resulting in a very clean installation that truly feels permanent and built to last well over a decade. The workmanship was top-notch: clean lines along the soffits, well-hidden wiring, and a finished result that looks polished and architectural rather than DIY. “We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Shafinsky Electric recently. We had a downed tree that did some damage to our weatherhead, but things were a little more complicated because we also had a downed wire on our property. The entire company at Shafinsky were *so* helpful and responsive. It felt like they dropped everything to come out before the power company to make sure everything was done correctly and in the right order so that we were not without power for too long. They were also very reasonably priced for an emergency visit. In a world where it often takes days for a contractor to call you back, this was such a delightful surprise. “It was 6:00 on a Friday night and we were having some strange electrical issues to the point where we were concerned about staying in the house. I called Shanisky and even though it was after hours a human answered the phone and took our issue very seriously. A tech (Alejandro) was at our house within 15 mins. He was extremely friendly & professional and took the time to thoroughly examine our breaker box, meter base and external connections. He determined that everything was good, and most importantly safe, internally and recommend we follow up with Met Ed. Considering it was after hours I felt their fees were very reasonable and they were transparent about pricing from the start. The bill ended up being exactly what they quoted, no surprise gotcha fees. I can't safe enough good things about both Shafnisky & Alejandro!!!”
