What People Are Saying About Sophistiqué French Bakery
“Phenomenal place! The pastries taste amazing. All made fresh, perfectly balanced for the sweet content. Delicious coffee in an ideal size of a cup. Like the Europeans like. Not too little, not too much. Bakery is spacious with elegant tables to enjoy your order. Location on the main street! Best to come early as they are selling out fast, which tells tons about their quality. Highly recommended!”

“We had a take out gift from this lovely bakery. Wow!! So yum. Flaky delicious, croissants in plain, chocolate almond, and chocolate were sampled. I cannot wait to go for more. Excited for the new location.”

“The best pastries around!!! My weeks are made much better when I can have a Sophistiqué croissant. My favorite is the pistachio berry croissant, and my husband loves the pain au chocolat.”

“Gorgeous hand crafted French pastries that cost a little more and are worth the money. Nice people. Very helpful. Quaint atmosphere with some outdoor seating. I fully expect the place to get popular and for us not to be able to get in so easily in the near future. I only hope then that the owner and staff continue to be as nice as they are now because I have seen other places that got popular lose the customer service. Beautiful place. We’re lucky to have it. It’s not easy to find an excellent bakery. My sister and I bought several pastries. All great!”

“This is my favorite hidden gem in Allentown. Their berry croissants are so good and fresh that I come early in the morning to get them before they’re gone! I also can’t recommend enough their fruit tarts. I absolutely love this place and it’s such a great addition to the area.”
